Job Description
Care Sisters LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to elderly and disabled individuals throughout Maryland. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our clients by helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral care)
- Dressing and undressing
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or mental condition
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as:
- Laundry
- Dishwashing
- Sweeping/mopping
- Changing bed linens
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Remind clients to take medications on time (no medication administration)
- Escort clients to appointments or errands (if driving is applicable)
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow company documentation protocols
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate with family members and supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Experience in caregiving or healthcare setting (1+ year preferred)
- CNA/HHA certification (optional, but a plus)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or must be willing to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if travel is required)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to lift, move, or assist clients as needed
