Job Description

Care Sisters LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to elderly and disabled individuals throughout Maryland. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our clients by helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
    • Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral care)
    • Dressing and undressing
    • Toileting and incontinence care
    • Mobility assistance and transfers
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or mental condition
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as:
    • Laundry
    • Dishwashing
    • Sweeping/mopping
    • Changing bed linens
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Remind clients to take medications on time (no medication administration)
  • Escort clients to appointments or errands (if driving is applicable)
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow company documentation protocols
  • Follow individualized care plans and communicate with family members and supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Experience in caregiving or healthcare setting (1+ year preferred)
  • CNA/HHA certification (optional, but a plus)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or must be willing to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if travel is required)
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Physical ability to lift, move, or assist clients as needed
